Asus eee Transformer keyboard dock #59

Closed GoogleCodeExporter closed 9 years ago

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. When connecting Asus eee Pad Transformer ti it's keyboard dock, the romanian
caracter set is not working anymore. So, I suppose it is a problem with the
physical keyboard from Asus, because, otherwise, hackerskeyboard works fine
with romanian caracter set on the virtual keyboard.
2.
3.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
For example, when I press „\” key I expect to see the romanian character
„â”, but instead I get a „\”.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
hackerskeyboard v 1.20 (latest version on Android Market) on Android 3.1

Tablet - Asus eee Pad Transformer (TF 101) and Asus Keyboard dock for Asus
TF101.

Sorry, my code has no influence on the characters generated by the physical
keyboard, this is an issue with the Asus keyboard driver and its character
mappings. As far as I know it completely bypasses the soft keyboard.

I understand. Thank you for your time. Now at least i know who to address
to.
Also, nice job on the keyboard, it is the only one on the market that
performs great with romanian character set. I had hopes that something can
be done to make it work with the physical keyboard, but maybe Asus will
solve the issue...

All the best.
