Unable to add different customer sharing home phone number #1

Customers seem to be uniquely identified by their phone numbers, but this is not viable for people who live together and share their home phone number. Additionally, this is not mentioned anywhere in the UG.

Team's Response

During our implementation, we intended for phone number to act as the unique identifier (ID) for customers. The main intention is for our target user (business owner) to easily contact the customers via phone number. Even though two customers may use the same home phone number, we intend for all orders to come from the same entity (household, company, etc.) We mentioned the need for unique phone numbers in CHIM error messages, however, we did not mention it clearly in the documentation which caused confusion.
