Killfeed not working #149

I installed the mod on a Black Mesa dedicated server and everything is working except for the killfeed. The only thing that shows up is "Suicide" whenever a player dies, even if they were killed by NPCs. Nothing shows up when players get kills.

Hey! In the current release, killfeeds do not work but there is a working implementation that will make it in the next release. We plan on dropping the new release early next month!

Oh, that's a relief! I'm glad to know the issue is with the mod and not something I did wrong. I was worried I'd made a mistake setting it up, especially since I saw the killfeed working on other servers also running SourceCoop 1.3.

Is there a way I can implement this fix myself? My friends and I are hoping to play with the killfeed, and there's a chance we might finish the game by next month.

Off-topic: I noticed that Balimbanana is a contributor to this mod. I've been trying to install another mod they made, SM-SourceExperienceMod, on my server, but I can't find the main file, sxpm.smx, on the official GitHub. No one seems to be responding to issues on that page, so I was wondering if you had any contact with the author or could point me to where I can download the file. I'm currently using an older version of sxpm that relies on console commands, but it doesn't have a menu and some of the skills don't work, which isn't ideal.

To get latest development build, go to actions tab on this repository, select latest run in 'master' branch, then you'll find updated archives. Use with discretion.

The project you mentioned is not affiliated, but it's worth a try asking about on discord.
