@luciaelizabeth and I discovered some modal auxiliary usages that probably belong in the AMR Dictionary:
He should be at the party. (= I think he'll be at the party): likely-01
You can go now (= You may go now): permit-01
This algorithm should always find the optimal solution. (likely-01?)
If you should see her, say hi for me. (drop from AMR?)
Nobody should go to bed hungry. (statement about desirable outcome, not necessarily obligating someone or recommending to someone. speaker belief/attitude? wish-01?)
