If I upload a file (such as Excel spreadsheet) to a BioBin Project, it shows on the Project Files page under the name it was uploaded. However, if I double-click on the file name to open the file (and then, say, want to save it to my local computer for editing), the file is renamed to a random string, like "8r72nYb3.xls". (It also seems like this random string changes each time the same file is downloaded.) I have to manually rename it back to a human-readable name.
I can understand maybe adding a small string to the file name, if the intention is to distinguish this file from the original, uploaded, one. But it would be nice if the behavior was more like Bioshare.
