Reference data entry error #358

From a user:

When adding references to a book, copy/pasting a single ref in and clicking +reference adds an empty/placeholder reference to the bibliography instead of the full entry and does not remove the ref from the text box. Fails with no console errors Chrome version 119.0.6045.123 Workaround: Add with the +bulk references button instead.
