I guess this is not the case in newer versions of iOS (Apple officially released its native file management app called Files in 2017). Before 2017, file managing has been a highly-requested feature for years but Apple didn't make any moves until 2017. I hope this chapter can bring up the discussion about why Apple made this decision and whether system transparency and direct manipulation are becoming more valued and demanded by users.
