Unable to enter password in input box

as the title describes, after the 4.2 game update, the login item was changed into rounded border style, at meantime, it's unable to enter anything into the input box of password. However, it's ok to enter someting in the account input box. riched30 20 dlls were replaced to origin but nothing happened. maybe mihoyou updates security measures in the process of login which is conflict with wine anyone have ever encountered this issuse？

I have exactly the same thing! I haven’t found a solution yet, I even tried stupid options with an on-screen keyboard and so on. Maybe someone here can help.

I had the same issue. Try switching to GE-Proton8-20. This fixed it for me. Tested on the steam deck running the flatpak version (3.9.2)

Note: On the latest GE-Proton version (GE-Proton8-22) the captcha after entering the password seems to be broken.

I tried to use GE-Proton8-20 in an-anime-launcher and it works fine. However, when I launch the game with GE-Proton8-20 ,both newly installed and copied files from anime-launcher, using lutris or bottles, the same problem occurs again. Maybe the key is not in the wine runners, but in the startup parameters or something else.

I've noticed on my steam deck that nothing shows up in the password field, but if I type my password anyways and hit enter it still works just fine

Ge-Proton 8-25 worked, the captcha after was a white box but I closed and reopened the captcha box and that fixed it? Or it just needed a second to load. Regardless I'm finally in!

Try closing that captcha and reopen it, or try Ge-Proton 8-25

I have passed captcha with GE-Proton 8-16 on GTX 760. Be careful that with older graphics cards modern dxvks don't recognize them because such cards don't support newest version of Vulkan. So you should change dxvk in Proton manually like this: (for lib x32 libriaries: ../genshin_impact/dxvks/dxvk-async-1.10.3/x32 -> ../genshin_impact/runners/GE-Proton8-16/files/lib/wine/dxvk for x64 libraries: ../genshin_impact/dxvks/dxvk-async-1.10.3/x64 -> ../genshin_impact/runners/GE-Proton8-16/files/lib64/wine/dxvk). It is not needed to do this in wine-proton.

can confirm the same issue on steam deck, wine-proton-ge versions .24 and .20 didnt help, and inputting my password even if no characters show up (like for sudo), and confirming also gives error

change workspace to some other and then back to game workspace, it worked

if i do it again, it stops working

if i do it again, it starts working

Oh I fixed my issue I changed which version of wine I was using
