HoYoKProtect.sys not found on fedora #329

Im am getting the following error message

02fc:err:module:import_dll Library WDFLDR.SYS (which is needed by L"C:\\windows\\system32\\HoYoKProtect.sys") not found
02fc:err:ntoskrnl:ZwLoadDriver failed to create driver L"\\Registry\\Machine\\System\\CurrentControlSet\\Services\\HoYoProtect": c0000142

When running the appimage to the terminal i see the above.

then afther this message the screen of the game does nothing and keeps stuck on the mihoyo logo

A game repair does not help

os fedora 39 intel + nvidia combo, where nvidia is set as primary GPU by nvidia.conf

Connected to HDMI to a 4k monitor

Maybe broken system links?

The game launches without it on other systems. I have to assume your system is being odd here.

Oddly enough, check your sound configuration. I occasionally have issues with game startup due to USB sound devices.

(pavucontrol may be of help in this case)

ye it is a freshly installed Fedora. ill just purge the entire instalation and any files and try it again by using the appimage. if that does not work ill try the flatpak verion

new install. worked. not it is broken again/ closing as it is not relevant to me anymore.
