Launcher reports "Failed to launch game", but game is working #164

  1. Press the launch button
  2. Game comes up
  3. The launcher pops up and says "Failed to launch game"^1

Besides the launcher, everything is working fine.

Some system info: GPU: 1060 GTX 6GB RAM: 16GB CPU: i5-3570k

I am also having the issue with the launcher coming up saying "failed to launch game", however mangohud reports DXVK normally. It seems to happen after playing for a while, I couldn't find a way to make it happen on demand. I'd say after about 30 minutes of play or so the launcher pops up, but other than it turning off discord presence, it doesn't seem to affect the game in any way.

In my case it takes about 3 minutes or less, before the launcher pops up.

I'm almost a 100% certain DXVK not being used (in my case) is an entirely separate issue (see #165 for further info). I've edited it out of this issue to stay more on point.
