Crash on trying to subscribe to another machine #499

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Tried adding another machine via 2 different domains
2. Toggle on/off some
3. Now crashes on launch

What is the expected output?
No crash

What do you see instead?
Crash

In attempting to get subscription working properly in the new stack for 2.0, I 
noticed this a time or two.  In the end, this will be fixed, but likely will 
require both machines to be upgraded to 2.0 to fix it.

I believe this is fixed in source as of 2.0, and yes, it will take updating 
both machines to get this to work right.
