Bug: testing for state transition #19

For example, opening the sorter and picking add slide, then closing the sorter, doesn't close the "add" panel.

Fixed this, but still haven't added unit tests. This is a 1/0 pointer once I have picked a test approach... likely going to follow the ipywdgets example. So i can test the browser in my server with the browser in my server.
