Environment: OS: Windows SW Version: Version: v1.0.0-rc3

When inserting a SD Card with no Kuiper Image on it, I can select from the Image Source the option for Update Boot Partition, and some files will be downloaded and saved on the SD Card. The writing process will finish successfully.

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Select Storage
  2. Click on "Image Source (Unconfigured)."
  3. Select Advance > Update Boot Partition
  4. Click on the Write button and process will start.

Expected behavior: I shouldn’t be able to click on Update BOOT Partition if no Kuiper Imager is written on the SD Card.

Same behavior on Ubuntu. All the folders in BOOT are written on the SD card but without proper partitioning and rootfs created, the SD card cannot be used to boot a carrier.

The same behavior is also observed on macOS 12.
