There is an issue here with the way the Nt Mini Noir works and The Great Waldo Search. The game plays PCM samples at the title screen, which pretty much requires the CPU's complete attention. Button presses may go unacknowledged while a sample is playing, and the NTM makes it a bit more complicated because it snoops on button presses to bring up the menu. Normally this does not cause issues or add extra lag, but this is a rare exception which does cause an issue.
The easiest way to get past the title screen and into the game is to bring up the menu while the sample is playing. After the fourth time the sample plays, the screen should change to the difficulty select.
If you want to see the Radiance Software screen, on an EverDrive N8 Pro enable Passthrough Mode and Disable Hotkeys in the NTM's menu, then start the game. If running the game by original cartridge or jailbreak, start the game, enable Passthrough Mode and Disable Hotkeys in the NTM's menu and then reset the game by pressing on the power button on the back of the NTM. The Radiance Software screen will appear after the title screen disappears as it should.
Thank you and this easily worked. I just pressed up+select and left it alone, it got me to the game mode select in 1 cycle.
Also, I noticed that JB 6.6 did not have this problem. Is this something Analogue would have to fix in their firmware or something that can be fixed with jailbreak?
Can't seem to figure out how to start The Great Waldo Search on the Everdrive N8 Pro with NT Mini Noir). I tried side loading with jailbreak & then official Analogue firmware, but neither work. I can get the opening credits, but it seems to skip a screen (the Radiance Software screen):

I tried every ROM I could find of the game & they all work correctly on MESEN emulator. None of em skip that Radiance screen. I wonder if there's a setting I need to change???
