"Launch System Timing" switch never activates the first time after a firmware update #5

Affects firmwares v5.3 and (at least) v5.2 as well.

To reproduce:

  1. Do a firmware update
  2. Go to Settings --> System --> Hardware
  3. Activate "Launch System Timing", making sure the little box next to it is checked
  4. Go to, say, the video settings, and adjust them to your liking
  5. Return to the Hardware settings section from step 2
  6. The checkbox for "Launch System Timing" will not be checked any more (and the setting will indeed be inactive, for that matter)

This only ever seems to happen immediately after a firmware update, when the setting is reactivated for the first time.

Very confusing and annoying indeed.
