Styles don’t load after update from 1.6.7 to 1.6.8/1.6.9

When I update Style Kits to the latest versions (1.6.8 and 1.6.9) my styles don’t load. Only Theme Style (Elementor) is active. I rolled back to 1.6.7 and this solves the issue. I have deactivated W3TC but no luck either. I have emptied all caches, including browser cache. I don’t know if this problem persists because of cache.

The issue can be reproduced even without upgrading from 1.6.7 to 1.6.9

Steps to reproduce the issue:

Install & activate SK 1.6.9
Import any template as a page
Click the "Edit Template" button
On the first time, you won't see default kit in the Elementor controls panel
Do any changes or move to any other panel in the Elementor controls panel (i.e. we doing a re-render of the control panel)
After second rendering you will see the default kit
Select the default kit and edit any style changes and publish the page
Compare the editor page with view page, you will see there are no styles applied in the view page

Reason for the issue

Options meta ang_options don't have value for the index global_kit in serialized data a:5:{s:10:"global_kit";b:0;s:15:"ang_sync_colors";b:0;s:11:"default_kit";b:0;s:24:"theme_style_kit_migrated";b:1;s:7:"version";s:5:"1.6.9";}
