Error while trying to install pandoc using macports #224

What steps will reproduce the problem?
sudo port -d install pandoc 

What version of the product are you using? MacPorts 1.8.2

On what operating system? Mac OS X 10.5.8

Please provide any additional information below.

You should submit this to the MacPorts issue tracker.  I haven't been actively 
maintaining the MacPorts port since version 1.2.  Someone else should take this 
up.

The recommended install path on Macs is to install the Haskell Platform
http://hackage.haskell.org/platform/mac.html
and then:
cabal update
cabal install pandoc

I tried the recommended install path on Macs, too.
But trying

> cabal update
I get the error message:
dyld: unknown required load command 0x80000022
Trace/BPT trap

Hm, someone reported a similar problem on pandoc-discuss.  You might check that 
thread.  haskell-cafe mailing list might be a good place to ask about this, as 
it is a 
general Haskell infrastructure issue.

Did you install the latest Haskell Platform?
