Song displayed is not always song playing #283

Describe the bug Sometimes when I open the app, the song displayed as playing is the song before the one that is currently playing in the queue. For example, King For A Day by Pierce the Veil is playing, but the app displays Diary of Jane by Breaking Benjamin, which came right before it. The progress bar even moves on Diary of Jane while King For A Day is playing. The bug seems to have no rhyme or reason to it, however. I can't conjure an exact formula for reproducing it.

To Reproduce Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Put several songs in the queue.
  2. Listen for a while.
  3. Come back to the app.
  4. Hear the current song playing but see the previous song displayed.

Expected behavior The current song is displayed as playing.

If you are using samsung, you could try enabling ignore battery optimization from settings, this will probably fix the issue. Samsung always shows unexpected behavior.

noticed the same issue on windows 10

I am not able reproduce it, However made some changes that would prevent it.

I have the new version and just saw the bug crop up again. The song in the first pic is the one that the app says is playing; the one highlighted yellow in the second pic is the one I'm hearing.

Please enable "ignore battery optimization" from settings if you are using samsung.
