https should be used for pythonexpress. Probably this isn't important at this point, but sometime in future pythonexpress should consider this. I think it should be possible for PSSI to support buying SSL certificates.

I agree that it is a good idea to run all PSSI websites with https. We can discuss this post PyCon India 2014.
