[BUG] Samsung Gallery doesn't display photos synced with MS Onedrive correctly #50

To Reproduce Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Using Microsoft OneDrive with MS 365 Plan. Onedrive contains photos. No problem with it.
  2. Set the sync photos with Samsung Galaxy S8
  3. Fresh photos made now are correctly synchronized to Onedrive.
  4. Old photos on Onedrive shows only "Cloud" preview in Samsung Gallery..
  5. After click on this strange (Cloud) preview I got bigger "Cloud" picture.
  6. Onedrive - Me - Settings - Gallery sync - Free up phone space doesn't "see" "Cloud" image and is not able to delete it from phone.

@czmik I'm 90% sure it's because of samsung and its cloud integration, this happens to me aswell on s20+ with samsung cloud pictures that i selected to download on the phone because of them killing scloud... We'll look further..

OK, many thanks in advance. I reported it as bug, because with stock rom I had no problem with it. Sorry, really it is true :-) If you can find the solution on your great ROM, it would be nice.

@corsicanu I suspect this is due to permissive kernels. In oreo and up I have never been able to get cloud photos to appear in gallery. They download file (based on gallery cache) but gallery can't open them

I suspect permissive because hadesRom pie has an enforce kernel and it works there
