loading delicious.com, I get prompted to export my bookmarks, which I do and save the HTML file.

then what?

Once you click on the green 'Yes' on the popup that asks you if you would like to import your bookmarks, you should be redirected to https://secure.delicious.com/settings/bookmarks/export -- where you should see another popup that tells you to select which set of bookmarks you would like to save. On clicking the yellow 'Export' button, the text on it should change to 'Please Wait...' and after the bookmarks have been successfully imported it will change to 'Done', at which point you will also see another message that the process has been completed.

You shouldn't be exporting the HTML file manually. If it still doesn't work let me know what platform and Firefox version you are running!

I am not getting the slurp dialog prompt to download my bookmarks when I sign into delicious. What might I be doing wrong? I have Windows Vista and Firefox 4.

There are some detailed instructions to use slurp on: https://webwanderings.wordpress.com/2011/03/07/importdownload-your-delicious-bookmarks-to-firefox-4-without-loosing-tags/

I've received some reports that using Slurp while having automatic sync enabled has caused issues. Try turning it off?

Hello, I appreciate you for taking the time to write this addon, yet I can't get it to work..

I'm running the latest Firefox 4, addons disabled besides Slurp, but when I hit the export button with "include my notes and tags" selected, Slurp announces after a few seconds that the backup was complete, but all that is created was a del.icio.us bookmarks folder that is empty. I've tried this multiple times with no success.

Seems as if everyone else isn't having an issue but I can't see what I'm doing wrong, if anything!

Thanks.

I have had the same issue as orkhayiq. I get the prompts form slurp. It makes a file, but it has no tags or notes when I import it then into Firefox bookmarks. There is a delicious folder in Firefox, but it is empty.
