Wrong compass direction #140

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Phone is in portrait mode. Notice compass direction.
2. Rotate phone so that you map is in landscape mode now.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
It's expected, that compass shows the same direction. You'll see that direction 
is wrong (probaly 90° error)

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
We've tested in on HTC Tattoo (Android 1.6) and on T-Mobile Pulse (Android 
1.5). We are using osmdroid 1.9
