Well, American "mumm(y|y's|ies)" corresponds to "муми(я|и|й|ям|ях)" regex to find equivalents in Russian localization files. Also "mom('s)?" is "мамк?(а|е|и|ы|ин(а|ы)?)", "momm(y|y's|ies)" is "мамочк.+|мамул(ечк)?.+|матушк.+". Maybe it can help you to find out right UUIDs to replace "mummies" to "mommies" etc.
As Larian wrote the game in British English, we have “mum” and “mummy” (akin to “mom” and “mommy”).
I debated whether I wanted to change this, as “mum” and “mom” are usually pronounced differently. But it’s similar enough, so I opted to make the substitution.
However, the trouble is the game also has mummies — those zombie-like walking monsters. Without having spent hundreds of hours and knowing the dialogue, I did my best to determine which are most likely moms and which are most likely mummies, but I may have gotten a few wrong.
I haven’t dived into the dialogue system. I’m guessing there’s a PAK that references the contentid UUID in the English.pak, so maybe searching for the contentid in other PAKs would return the character who is saying the line of dialogue?
I welcome any help verifying the mummy issue.
