Improve table sortability on small screens #16

As screens get smaller, table columns are progressively hidden. This has the major disadvantage that users don't see the information anymore and they lose the ability to sort tables by that column. There needs to be a UI element that is activated for small screens to provide the ability to sort by columns that are not visible.

This is crucial because the most common use case for the app will be on mobile devices.
