Project to be archived #536

Hello! I haven't been very active here, and I have very limited free time these days.

While I hate the idea of archiving a project, I am considering archiving this Disgord project. I don't see what the Disgord project can offer that the other (arikawa, discordgo, disgo, etc.) can't, not to mention that they're active and more up to date 💯.

I wish I had more free time to work on this, but I also don't want to pretend I can make a commitment for the project in any foreseeable future. I think users that come across this project would be more affected by such an approach than myself, so officially archiving this make sense to me.

Because of this I'm asking if anyone needs any patches before I proceed? Any other wishes, or comment on approaching this? Should the license be revisited before archiving? I'm also open to someone simply taking over this, if that makes any sense.

I'll leave this here for a little while, and if there's no friction I'll go ahead and archive it. Sorry for any inconvenience this has caused.

user installables and polls are still missing and the user isn't really up to date rn on top also the user flags

I don't quite see the point in implementing new features now.

I may fix that up if active users come in and request it. Since I haven't heard anything, I assume it hasn't been a critical feature for them.

oh so you mean actually breaking bugs alright because missing flags can just be patched by filling out the values yourself from the discord docs
