I am really liking this theme for writing markdown.

very easy on the eyes

I am currently changing the language mode to text in markdown to eliminate syntax highlighting which I find distracting. Is there any way to eliminate syntax highlighting in markdown?

Glad you like it!

I'm afraid I'm not sure exactly what you're after - do you want to disable syntax highlighting completely for Markdown?

Thanks for making this theme. I have been looking for a duo-tone, e-ink like, minimalist light theme and your theme is perfect ❤️ !

Thanks for the quick response. Yes I am looking to remove syntax highlighting for markdown.

The only way I have found is to change the language mode to text but then I will lose out on some of the markdown extensions capability like Markdown All in One since now it thinks it's a text file.
