Any idea how to solve this issue? I get this when importing as well as trying
too edit test scenarios.
Thanks

Somebody already found the solution for this problem. I have the same issue
using the drools-5.1.1-guvnor-standalone release.
Thanks

currently working my way through the examples, updating them to latest version
(5.1 of Drools), which is the core of the problem as the examples were created
with version 4
Have you tried this fix, to see if it solves your problem?

Thanks. Two observations:
1) Is it possible that Drools 5.1 comes bundled *with* the chapter 3 examples?
I delete the 5.1 WAR, redeployed 5.1, and noticed the assets are there... weird
(See attached pic). Or perhaps they 'half installed' the first time, and still
remained in the repository?
2) Noticed that Maven 3 is really broken with the Chapter 6 examples. Had to
downgrade to Maven 2, which works fine. Given that Maven 3 was supposed to be
backward compatible, perhaps I'm missing a compatibility switch?

@Paul (#8),
Do you have any update on fixing this? I am completely new to Drools, and I
must say, so far, I am not feeling that it is a good choice. At least with
if/then, I know my code works.

@mikeviens I'm concentrating on getting the examples working in Google App
Engine to make it easier for people to try out Drools - no knowledge of Java
required (which is a barrier for a lot of people based on feedback). Not there
yet, but very good progress.
Chapter 3 sample is always going to be tricky as Changes in Drools Guvnor /
BRMS are not meant to be backwards compatible . The code samples for the book
are written against Maven 2/ Drools 4 - as Drools evolves the samples may not
work in newer code.
Have you tried the samples with the version specified?
