TIMELINE. My timeline works in Firefox, not IE #261

I went through the basic tutorial on the SIMILE Timeline site and
everything works fine in Firefox, but not IE. When I display the error
message in IE, I get an error message of:

'start is null or not an object'
Code 0

Thanks so much for any help?
