The motivation is to build a set of visualization tools for a typical EHR dataset that have the following features:

time stamps
mixture of static and repeated measurements
considerable amount of registration error

Hence the core functionality (for personal graphs) requires

handling of time and static (e.g. tile + gt tables)
QA across several tables for one person's records (e.g. within LOS? drug use BEFORE prescription?)
compare ONE patient vs the cohort, provide some summary so that we know if he's normal or outlier

Stage 1: simply visualize what has happened (temporal events)

Stage 2: combine text, use different colors to point out errors

Stage 3: at an aggregated level, process modeling
