I've created a new branch. We still have issues with the ExponentialSimulator. I guess there are memory issues.

I've merged the PR, but had to revert the CMakeLists to the previous version because otherwise I couldn't compile, sorry @jcarpent I undid you work. I'm gonna open an issue to describe the problem I' ve seen
