I'd like this as well. I'd like an app so I could:
I wouldn't be doing much writing on the road, but quite often I have ideas that I want to jot down somewhere, and then I have to transcribe everything when I get back. Having it all synchronized would be awesome.
I'm not sure I like Dropbox/Google Drive, so I'd prefer if there was some other option (e.g. hosted backup server, which would be a possible revenue stream). I'd even be interested in helping build this if the author is on board. I'm on Android, so this would be a big sell for me in comparison to Scrivener, which is iOS only.
I used Story Owl but now mostly Novelist (also by an Italian programmer). I like Novelist better.
Me to I'd like an Android version. At least it'll be good a workaround like for scrivener exporting the project and using JotterPad.
I think that would be too big a feature to undertake and would prefer that Bibisco development concentrates on the desktop application. After all, the desktop/laptop is much more suitable for writing, planning, and organizing than a mobile. Are you familiar with Scrivener? it is a great contender but their Windows version is seriously lagging behind their original Mac version. They promised an updated Windows version to match their Mac version and for YEARS it has been "it is coming" and never comes. At present, after 4 years of waiting, they are still at a Release Candidate. I actually use both Bibisco and Scrivener depending on what kind of writing I will do.
If you are really looking for a great Android app fulfilling those expectations, then please do consider using Novelist which by the way is also developed by an Italian guy. I sent him a bunch of suggestions over the years (I kind of informally beta-tested) and now the app is very mature. Although there won't be integration, you can use it as a wonderful supplement to Bibisco or Scrivener when on the go as you never know when inspiration strikes.
Developing Bibisco for web would take much valuable resources and would require storing your manuscript on the web, I wouldn't like that for many reasons.

I disagree, @lordofscripts. The app is built on web technologies (HTML, CSS, and JavaScript) and uses Bootstrap, a responsive CSS framework. Deploying this as a progressive web app (like Wavemaker Cards) or mobile app (like Plottr) doesn't seem that far-fetched. A lot of the support is already there. In fact, I would be happy to help, if that's something the developer is looking for.
So, I'm loving Bibisco. I like it over other alternatives such as Scrivener and yWriter, and there's very little that I feel is missing for it to become my perfect writing tool. I purchased the Supporters Edition. One major thing that's still missing for me, is the ability to run it across all of my devices. The fact that this works on Linux is a major plus, though. But I sometimes like to work on my iPad, and other times on my Chromebook. If this was deployed as a progressive web app, it could work on almost anything that runs a modern web browser. I think the biggest challenge with this would be to figure out how to handle storage.
I know I could stick with Wavemaker Cards, but I'm not a fan of the UI. I find it too cluttered. I prefer the way Bibisco is laid out, and there are key features on Bibisco that Wavemaker doesn't offer.
Hi guys, I'm a newbie developer and right now I'm working on a prototype Bibisco editor app on Flutter. https://github.com/megastruktur/bibisco_editor Have plans to finish the work in about 1-2 months. Feel free to follow :)
How about bibisco as android app so you can work without notebook or mac? Like.. editing the data on the road on Dropbox or GoogleDrive or perhaps even local projects with your mobile device. It would be very nice for the workflow. Btw: thank you for sharing this great work with us! :)
