Entry Point Error message installing 3.0.2-SE under Windows 7 (KERNEL32.dll) #353

I have just upgraded to the 3.03 supporters edition under Win7. The previous version installed and worked fine for over a year now.

The installation of 3.0.2-SE went 100% ok, no errors. When I try to run it I get an error which says "Entry Point Not Found" in KERNEL32.dll. The image is below.

I am (still) using Win7 but will be migrating to a Win10 box soon as a lot of software no longer runs under Win7.

Update: I have tried versions 3.0.0 and 3.0.1 and the problem is the same.

Re-installed version 2.4.0 and it is fine.

bibisco 3.0 uses Electron 24.2, which no longer supports Windows 7 and 8.

OK, thanks for the update. I had my suspicions.

It might be an idea to make that clear on the downloads page.

In the FAQ's you do say "Only versions for 64bit architectures are available" but not everyone would fully understand that or will read it.
