2 years ago Hi! Cipi is tested on Digital Ocean, AWS, Vultr, Contabo and many other providers... I'm receiving many issues from Oracle VPS users and currently, I can say that Cipi is not compatible with them yet for Oracle configuration that is different from other providers config. So I will check Cipi in Oracle env in next days and I'll update this issue. Sorry for the incovenience.

2 years ago Hi! I checked it! It’s a Oracle Cloud Network issue! By default they open just port 22 but you have to open also 80 and 443 before Cipi installation as Cipi Docs requires.
This is their guide to do it: https://www.oracle.com/webfolder/technetwork/tutorials/obe/cloud/compute/permitting_public_tcp_traffic_to_compute_instances/permitting_public_tcp_traffic_to_compute_instances.html.
Other providers open them by default!
To check if ports Are Open, use: https://viewdns.info/portscan/?host=1.1.1.1 (within your VM IP)

2 years ago I am back, Andrea . Yes it is possible to open the ports before You install the panel. But the architecture is supported by your panel ? The Oracle uses arm based os-es.

2 years ago Yes! I confirm everything! In Oracle the only problem are HTTP and HTTPS ports! No issue with ARM! Let me know if you will solve it! Best, Andrea

2 years ago Hi again Andrea, yes i managed to install it successfully on Oracle Cloud Free Tier. Now i have another problem. How to install Wordpress using your panel ? Any guide somewhere ? Even a youtube video from someone else would be helpful. So you can install it on Oracle. It works. For things to work, you need to create an VM instance, after that when the instance starts to run, you need to edit the security rules of subnet and add ingress rules for ports you need to be open. For SSH login you need to use user ubuntu, and after that sudo -i, or run the install commands with sudo. After the install finish you need to use this command to be able to access the webpage iptables -P INPUT ACCEPT && iptables -P OUTPUT ACCEPT && iptables -P FORWARD ACCEPT && iptables -F . And there you go you can access the cipi panel.

I have installed the Cipi Panel on a Oracle Cloud free tier Ubuntu 20.04 virtual server, all good, at the end of the installation i got the ip-adress the usernames and passwords, i added firewall rules to ports 80,22 and 443, but still unable to access the panel ... any other ports needs to be open to can be able to access it ?The VM is using ARM processors...
