Cross-platform build (macOS, Linux, Windows) #112

I want to uninstall WhatsApp due to the latest changes in their terms of service, but would like to have a browsable offline database of my chats so that I can search my chats or find that image/video someone sent me. However, I’m on macOS.

I started this here: https://github.com/andreas-mausch/whatsapp-viewer/tree/wxwidgets However, still a lot of work to be done and I have not worked on it in the last couple of weeks.

Note: You should be able to run the current release version on macOS and Linux using Wine.

Thanks for the reply, @andreas-mausch . I believe this is a very valuable tool now that many people are turning their backs on WhatsApp. A cross-platform build would of course be great! I will check out running it via Wine, thanks for the hint.

Any option to run it on CLI? On mac or linux.

Currently only decryption via wine
