fava 1.25 updates to extension #9

these are the minimal updates needed to not crash on fava 1.25

probably need to switch to new javascript api in fava 1.25. I can start looking into if you want me to

Thanks for the PR! I plan to review/merge this and migrate to the new JavaScript support of Fava 1.25 this week.
