The solution is to use the other style (sans brackets): for Arabic see: https://kotirokarukakariki.wordpress.com/2012/01/24/how-to-use-lwt-learning-with-texts-in-arabic/ for C/J/K what is listed in http://lwt.sourceforge.net e.g. Japanese 一-龥ぁ-ヾ
Why the problem? Official version accepts brackets just fine...
