The UG stated that address should only have alphanumeric characters. However, i edited the address field to special characters and was successfully edited.

Team's Response

It is a documentation bug in the UG. Address should contain non-alphanumeric characters so that #@ sysmbol are allowed. The app can still be used normally.

In the CS2103T website, it is mentioned that a behaviour that differs from the user guide is considered as a functionality bug. In this scenario, it is stated in the user guide that address fields should only contain alphanumeric characters. Thus, when i enter address with special characters, i expected an error message. However, my erroneous address input was accepted and this behaviour differs from the user guide. Thus, i believe it is a functionality bug.
