If I understand correctly LAN control on sonoff/eWeLink devices can only be done on specific devices and not all sonoff devices.

Only on devices that are new and have specific firmware versions.

I am saying this after testing this node without success.

As you can see on sonoff site we are talking about sonoff DIY mod https://sonoff.tech/diy-developer/ and it is only available on specific devices with specific versions image

Also there are steps to enter the device into DIY mod

All of this information should be part of the readme, readme is the instruction for people if this should work and how to use this node.

So is the "LAN control" toggle Under 'Device Setting' on the phone app different? I have the Smart socket S20

guyluz11 commented 1 year ago

The lan control as far as I know is something else entirely. It is for the app itself and not DIY mode for external control of the device.

Is it possible to use device api key instead of DIY mode?

pysonofflanr3 can do it for Sonoff switches and not require DIY mode, But need to fetch api key first.

also if you enable debug mode you can get native curl command but it is encrypted, and i looking for method to execute via curl without encryption.

Tested from my side at Sonoff 4ch pro r2
