VS project improvements #288

A few changes to the, .editorconfig, .gitignore, and Visual Studio project files for smoother development in Visual Studio.

When I added the .editorconfig file it was purely to override GitHub's default tab size of 8. Personally I disable all VS autoformatting because I feel like it gets in the way more than it helps, but having better defaults in there for actual editing should help everyone else. The other changes look good, too, thank you! Merged in 595c5a2ec46c14caf2f4bd1658336960e34a67e0.
