Like it is a simple toggle switch during compile time.
Is it already? Unfortunately, compiling code on my own isn't so easy. If there's a way to compile a version which supports it, I'd like to try, but I cannot create custom builds on my own, I'm afraid.
It's not in the engine, no. I mean, it'd be all over the news if it was a thing. I was trying to be snarky.
Apparently Ironwail still does not support the dynamic shadows featured in "Dimension of the Machine" (MG1) from Quake Enhanced. It would be nice to eventually get this since the episode profits greatly from this effect (e.g. when giant fans cast their shadows on nearby walls).
