I honestly transfer unicode to Qt widgets. It is Qt (I don't know exactly, what does Qt use for drawing text) who draws symbols incorrectly. I checked with Qt Designer - text looks like in Enki. Comments differ from other code, because comments are italic
they are still not bound together by git submodules, so need to specify both every time
Yes, now Enki and Qutepart as 2 separate projects and I'm not going to include Qutepart to Enki source package and installers.
Using Enki 6b6444a019491bf9b7f271f0075aabac6469924f and qutepart 86b5769a1bbdf1d5ceb98d733ef4485b84e0a97a (they are still not bound together by git submodules, so need to specify both every time).
If I try inserting character '' (U+EEEE), into most places of a python source opened in Enki, it works correctly. Hovewer if I insert it in a
#comment
, it gets displayed as a rectangle. If I try inserting U+10902 (shown like '^' in my system, can't insert it on Github), it gets displayed as one rectangle in a comment and as two rectangles in other places.
To copy this character in clipboard you can use
U+E0020 (a very special whitespace) gets inserted as one or two rectangles... (I wanted to check if Enki really knows about special rare types of whitespace).
