"U+FFFC OBJECT REPLACEMENT CHARACTER" is not properly displayed in Enki

Trying to insert  into enki makes it think as if it were a negative width character. Especially funny effect is at the beginning of the line.

Expected behaviour: show it as three little letters "OBJ", diagonally, like in gnome-terminal, gvim, gedit and xterm.
