There is some code in Node which exists only so that the wsRegions protocol works (related to the serverURI member).

remove this code and pass the server URI to the messaging shard using some other, more general, mechanism.

There is also a VALUE field, which is also non-static, in AgentWave, used only for MPI messaging.
