French translation added #3

Thanks for your amazing work! Here is a proposal of translation in French.

Would it be possible to make the cardinal points translatable? In French, only the W (West) would become an O (Ouest). N = North = Nord, E = East = Est and S = South = Sud.

Also, have you ever considered to host the translations in Launchpad, this way the translations could be more easily reviewed by Ubuntu Translators?
