Hi,

Thank you for providing this firmware.

I'm using the Kensington Expert Mouse Wireless Trackball with a TP-Link UB500 Bluetooth connector on Linux. It previously worked fine on both Linux and Windows, but since around last year, I've been experiencing the following issues on both Debian/Ubuntu-based distros and Arch-based distros: (still works fine on Windows)

  1. It disconnects for a few minutes, then automatically reconnects, and repeats. (Bluetooth mode)
  2. Inaccurate cursor movement. (Bluetooth mode)

This rtl8761b-firmware fixed Issue 1, but Issue 2 is still present. I'd be happy to try a firmware from around a year ago, or any version you suggest, and let you know if it works.

Thanks!

I published this firmware version just to solve the problem of continuous reconnection, in my case with the xbox controller, interesting to know that the same problem is present with other peripherals.

for point two I don't think it's a firmware problem, but you probably need to change something on your bluez/xorg config
