Given the switch to the pseudo-bucket model, we are having trouble with the diagnostic solution converging to something realistic. Given this challenge, we've opted to instead use an isothermal (temperate) initial condition for the initialization simulations.
Preliminary sensitivity tests show that the final solution is not initial condition dependent, and therefore our choice does not affect our steady-state thermal structures
