I love hush puppies and want to make some.

We do a Friday fish fry with cod, hush puppies and coleslaw.

We go to a place that does Friday fish fry and has hush puppies. Many places do not have hush puppies.

Yes please! This should probably turn into two recipes

I have many questions about Fish Fry:

and Puppies:

[ ] are we trying to copy something like LJS? Or another restaurant?
[ ] this is probably all about a seasoning list. I'd be interested in an "old bay" flavor, little spicy but not to much.

Last time we did bass using Andy's Yellow, we also fried mushrooms (morels) that day.

What about vessel? I suspect the vessel will have some input into the type of batter?

Andy's was Corn Meal based, which I don't have a good vessel choice. That reminds me of like fish and green beans and rice maybe?
