What happened?

Currently, the course indicates that SREs should know fan speed. This might paint a misleading picture for modern SRE. Alternatives might include:

Device read/write errors
Memory glitches (total)
Other hardware issues

(In reply) I need to think on this one a little; the fan speed is designed to be associated with regulating the CPU frequency. However, I could also try and express that far more directly — just check the total throttling events (or similar). Need to dig deeper on this, and rephrase the section.
