"Recent files" aren't actually recent #66

Love the plugin, but two issues:

  1. The "recent files" aren't actually recent. The ones displayed are neither recently created, nor recently edited, so I don't know where the plugin is getting them; or rather why it's showing them. For me it's displaying five calendar events from a month ago.
  2. the field the file names are displayed in are too small, and I can't tell which files are being shown. Is there a way to increase the width of the bottom box so the full file names can be displayed?

              Hey! Thanks for opening an issue!

So to clarify, "recent files" is currently getting the most recently **modified** markdown files.

Are not not seeing this behavior or are there non-markdown files you'd like to see reflected here?
