Second: Shifty writes into the HTML, even if I haven't pushed shift twice. That sometimes sucks because some WYSIWYG-editors make notice of that and suddenly <div id="shifty-spritz" style="display: none; top: -9999px;" tabindex="1"> appears in the input-field.

I will take a look into writing to HTML only if double shift is pressed!
Also what browser is this occurring on? I assume its Firefox.
